Here is a photo of Simone and her blanket. I have it on good authority (her mom) that she really loves it, although that does seem pretty obvious!
Unfortunately I am unable to get photos of all the kids and their blankets. Given the nature of their illnesses and the varying prognosis I feel strongly that I will not pester or harass anyone to give me photos of their child and blanket.
The most important thing for me is to simply get the kids their blankies. They have so much going on that photos seem trivial. I thank Ashley and her parents for their willingness to share, as I thank my brother, sister-in-law and Grace for their generosity in sharing Grace's story and photos.
I remain committed to the project and hope to have more updates/photos and blankets to share soon.
I'll bet she'll enjoy it many years to come and maybe even pass it on to her own daughter. Thanks for sharing the photos. I can't imagine anyone asking for more. Just knowing that children are enjoying their blanket hugs is enough for me.

Isn't this a beautiful shot of a beautiful little girl. Thanks for sharing it. Just knowing the children love them is enough for us.

That is so wonderful. She is just glowing!
Thank you so much for sharing these pictures - we totally understand, there is no need for asking the families for anything, they are already giving more than they should have to.
Just knowing the children have their blankets made from loving and caring knitters/crocheters is enough for us.

That's a beautiful blanket. I'll have to look at my stash to see what I can find and maybe knit a few...ciao
